The Livingston Tourism Business Improvement District thanks everyone who made our 2nd Annual Light Up Livingston Celebration on Saturday, November 26, 2022 a big success with over 3,000 guests in attendance! This event is in conjunction with Small Business Saturday and we encourage everyone to enjoy the wonderful shops, restaurants and bars in Downtown Livingston before and after the Light Up Livingston festivities.
All are invited to this free community event to kick off the magical holiday season in Livingston. There are many giveaways and the only costs are for food, drink and professional family photos. The Depot Park trees will be lit during the event with 125,000 lights on 36 trees and they will Light Up Livingston through the New Year, thanks to the Holiday Lights Committee and donors, and Downtown is lit up with 90 large light pole snowflake lights thanks to the Downtown Livingston Business Improvement District, Tourism Business Improvement District and Holiday Lights Committee.
Light Up Livingston features fun for the whole family fun including:
* Holiday Scavenger Hunt Downtown with prize drawing - search for candy cane icons in participating businesses, bring your Small Business Saturday Scavenger Hunt Card to the Explore Livingston tent by 5 pm after finding the candy cane icon in at least 5 participating businesses for a drawing of hundreds of dollars of gift cards and prizes from local small businesses, must be present to win! ❄ Carols sung by the Livingston Park High Chamber Choir
❄Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 pm with Santa magically turns on 125,000 lights in the Depot Park
🎅 After 5:30 Santa will head inside the Depot to meet children with help from his entourage of elves (parents welcome to take photos of their children with Santa)

📸Professional photos in front of the lavish Christmas tree inside the Depot to raise funds for the Depot Foundation - only $12! You will receive one 4x6 print in a custom embossed card by Carla Racster to display on the mantle or to send to family and friends.

🌭 Lucky Dogs Hots & Brats menu: Hot Dog. Polish Sausage, Veggie Dog, Vegetarian Chili
🍦 United in Light: Wilcoxon's ice cream cones and bars, classic popsicles and ice cream bars to raise funds for their rescue draft horses
☕️ The Livingston Depot Center tent: hot chocolate, hot cider, and Neptune's Brewery beer to raise funds for the Depot Foundation
🍺 Murray Bar will sell peppermint schnapps, Bailey's and fireball to spike those hot drinks for those 21 and over
🍷Gourmet Cellar Wine & Specialty Food will have wine for sale
* The Livingston Tourism Business Improvement District will be giving away candy cane striped holiday scarves, collectible tumblers, safety reflectors, and more!
* Holiday Lights of Livingston, a community-funded nonprofit that lights the Depot trees, will be in attendance. They are community funded and receive no County, City, or grant funds. Thank you for supporting their work.
Everyone is encouraged to shop, eat, drink and be merry at Downtown and area businesses. When you spend locally in Livingston, your dollars circulate seven times in the community, so we applaud everyone who supports Livingston’s small business economy.
